AdVENTURE Scholars

VCG’s High School Venture Capital Program

Most high school students have never heard of venture capital. As a 501c3 nonprofit fostering pathways to VC, Harvard VCG is here to change that. The AdVENTURES Program equips high school students with the fundamentals of venture capital. Over the course of five days, our students learn from VC experts and gain valuable hands-on experience. AdVENTURE Scholars engage in speaker events, training workshops, and skills practicals. The virtual program culminates in a capstone project.

We teach students how to excel as they embark on an adVENTURE into the world of VC.

Providing
impact scholarships

Venture capital has fueled innovation over the past 50 years – but there is still room to improve. For the industry to reach its full potential, we must open doors for women, people of color, and other underrepresented minorities to participate in and benefit from the venture ecosystem. Committed to increasing accessibility to the world of venture capital, VCG works to diversify the field and open doors for aspiring investors.

That’s why we collaborate with sponsors and partners to provide scholarships to the AdVENTURES Program for underrepresented minorities in venture capital.

AdVENTURES Program Advisors

The AdVENTURES Program was developed in partnership with venture capital professionals with decades of experience. VCG greatly appreciates these advisors and their crucial role in making this program possible.
